DWCMAP is a martial art fighting strategy that is quick, effective, and limitless. Emphasizing the “ranges of combat,” students are taught to confidently and with ease “flow” from long distance (“kicking-range”) to middle distance (“hand-range”) to close quarters (“trapping & grappling range”).The movements are crisp and efficient, utilizing the most direct lines and angles. DWCMAP affords the practitioner a means by which to effectively pursue the most direct line of attack. Once an attack has been launched, there are no breaks or interruptions. As one technique nears completion, it starts to blend into the next and so forth: one continuous flowing motion until the conflict is resolved.
Danny Williams Combat Martial Arts Program has its foundation in our faith in Jesus Christ, the only hope for this lost and dying world. We believe in hope for our families, help for our friends and love for one another. We train minds, body and spirit. Through the power of God we are strengthened by our foundational verse in Psalm 144:1-2 “Blessed be the Lord, my rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle; he is my steadfast love and my fortress, my stronghold and my deliverer, my shield and he in whom I take refuge, who subdues people under me.” Psalm 144:1-2 ESV

CLASSES WILL TEACH YOU HOW TO FUNCTION OUT OF ALL 5 RANGES OF FIGHTING:
Our goal for our students is to help them become well-rounded fighters who can adapt to any range, opponent, or situation. DWCMAP was created to not only make fighting quick and simple, but also open-ended, so that the user can blend his/her own styles and preferences into the mix and have their own unique product.
Our school teaches you the correct way to do this effectively, at any age. DWCMAP’s movements are crisp and efficient, utilizing the most direct lines and angles. Our classes afford the practitioner a means by which to effectively pursue the most direct line of attack.
These techniques are taught in our DWCMAP 1, 2 & 3 Classes, as well as our DWCMAP Street fighting classes. The mentality is also deeply rooted into every art and class we offer, both sport and combat. Students are taught to blend all of the arts we teach and, as a result, have the best possible preparation for any situation that may arise.*Beginners and those with experience are welcome to all classes. We will start you at DWCMAP 1 and you will then continue to 2 & 3.* As in every class, we typically have multiple instructors helping and guiding our students.
DWCMAP draws influences from several disciplines including Wing Chun, , Jhoon Rhee Tae Kwon Do, Combat Hapkido, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu , Boxing, Kick Boxing and the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program.
The techniques Of DWCMAP vary in degrees of lethality, allowing the user to select the most appropriate (usually the least) amount of force. For example, an individual is facing a nonviolent but non compliant subject, can use an unarmed restraint to force compliance with minimal damage and pain.
A more aggressive subject could be met with a choke hold, or a strike. Lethal force can be used on a subject as a last resort. The majority of techniques can be defensive or offensive in use, with or without a weapon; allowing individuals flexibility in a combat dilemma or a life or death situations as well as self-defense.
We teach a variety of Ranging techniques. There are three ranges in which close combat engagements can take place: long-range, mid-range, and close range. In any engagement, these ranges can rapidly transition from one to another and then back again until the aggressor is defeated or the situation is handled.
At long range, the distance between combatants allows engagement with a staff and other Martial Arts weapons of opportunity. At mid-range, the distance between combatants is such that they can engage each other with knives, punches, or kicks. At close range, the distance between combatants is such that they can grab a hold of each other and may involve elbow and knee strikes and grappling.
We offer beginner-to-advanced Martial Arts classes for men, women, and children. No experience necessary! Get started with our exclusive online offer.
